When I began this blog site I intended it to be more magazine-like. Then in 2021 my check engine light came on, at the age of 61, and I was thrust into a quagmire of health issues, and THEN, an unconscious shot man crashed into a line of three cars stopped at a red light. He totaled three cars, including his own and mine, and the poor guy behind me who’s Toyota Rav 4 that was crushed. Thus, I ended up doing a lot of emotional venting.
We all survived our injuries, and as far as I know, everyone returned to normal lives. Me? I was stuck having no vehicle to get to my medical appointments to fight four issues, three of which could have been cancer. Actually, I think the right numbers are five and four, respectively. Only one if my issues turned into full blown cancer, and it was the easy kind: skin cancer, basal cell carcinoma, in fact, I’m having one of those kinds of lesions removed on 9/28.
It’s 2:55 am , and I’m wiped out, but this writing issue is bugging me. Since that p0$ trump exploded into our lives, and our politics, my life, my mindset, my faith and belief in humans has been severely damaged.
Literally, since 2016 I have been wrestling with these issues and trying to understand how I feel about myself and my fellow Americans. I think I’m reaching the point in which I can finally describe what is happening to me—to millions of us.
I want to try to write about that.
But, not now. It’s 3:00 am, straight up. I have to sleep. I have off—today. I’m going to try to express those thoughts and feelings here later on.
I know so many of us have been going through the same exact kind of mental and spiritual battles. Many of us have even suffered physically from this nightmare we’ve been living
I truly hope and pray the midterm elections FINALLY get us all back on track.
