I’m at work, until 7:15 pm. Sprout’s is open till 8 pm. So, I’m not closing. Yay!
I was trying to find an urgent care facility that took my insurance. I found a few. They all close at 5 pm. Figures. I want to blast this (2nd in under a month) sinus infection out of my head for good.
Five of these infections in one year is a record, even for me. I think it’s time to consult an ear, nose and throat doctor. Something isn’t right up in those sinus cavities. I’ve been dizzy since I got up. My shift starts at 1 pm tomorrow. Since I’m planning on drinking one glass of red wine and becoming one with the recliner and the remote control, I might be able to get up and go tomorrow before work. I know I’m not going to a hospital ER; I don’t want a $2,000 sinus infection.
I don’t want to jinx us, but it’s been kind of slow today. I rang up this tiny Philippino lady who got a bunch of fruit, including cara cara oranges. A little while later she came through with two more cara cara oranges and she related an interesting Philippino New Years custom. They put 12 round fruits on a table—one fruit for each month and it’s supposed to bring you good luck. I might try that.

I hope you all have a very Happy New Year. I hope you all are safe, healthy and your dreams manifest.

I can relate to your sinus struggles, I’ve had a few infections as well. It’s frustrating when you can’t find an urgent care facility that takes your insurance, especially when you’re feeling terrible. I hope you’re able to get some relief and feel better soon.’
Anyways, Happy new year!

Thank you very much. Yeah, I’ve got a deviated septum—been that way since my 20’s (over 40 years). They are extremely common. You have a great new year. Thanks for stopping by.❤️
