Mother’s Day 2022

My mother died April 4, 1985. She had just turned 57 on March 20th. She was way too young.

Treasure every moment you have with your mom. If you have a difficult relationship with her, please try and seek counseling together.

My mom and I had a very bittersweet relationship that could have benefited from counseling. When she died, there was so much left undone and unsaid. And those unsaid and undone tasks still haunt me.

Her death was so much more difficult for me than my dad’s was six years later. I think a lot of that was due to the fact that my dad and I had a much happier relationship.

I wish all moms of human and animal children, all those females working in a nurturing role, a Happy Mother’s Day.

I miss you, Mom, every day.❤️‍🩹
