Sixteen minutes left on lunch

It’s 12:23 pm. At least I’m getting one. It been me and the opening head cashier since 8:30 pm. She’s been here since 6:30-7, and we’re short staffed, so she gets no lunch. That’s inhumane, and probably illegal. I know it’s against company policy.

Makes me glad I approached the store manager and told him I needed to talk about transferring to Oviedo and that I’d already spoken with the front end manager there who told me to talk to my store manager. He said, nicely, “Ok, we can do that.”

Moving isn’t going to happen anytime soon, unless a mass exodus of cashiers happens there, but I can get the ball rolling.

Leftover dirty rice from night.

I have seven minutes left. Later.
