I broke down and took acetaminophen

Ugh. Pain. I guess it’s diverticulitis. I can’t take ibuprofen because of Monday’s pending skin cancer surgery. So, I’m at the mercy of the fake Tylenol.

I knew it was going to be kind of rough today because I was having pain before I even got to work. I need to read more on this condition. Constant pain cannot be normal. I’m sure the key is diet. I’ve eaten healthfully all my life-always lots of fiber, but unfortunately, after my finances imploded in 2007, I couldn’t always afford the healthiest choices. My mom wasn’t a baker; she was an excellent cook, and so was my dad. We ate dessert on holidays only. I got candy three times a year and birthdays were spent in excellent, locally owned seafood restaurants, and the focus was on the entree.

I am going to make an appointment with my gastroenterologist about how I care for this.

Publix generic acetaminophen. I took two. So far, my pain thinks it’s funny.

It’s 7:25 pm and I’m going to be making my dinner very soon. I have some Jamaican meat patties in the freezer. I eat them kind of like I eat burritos: smothered in salad.

Rose already went upstairs to get ready for bed; her ride to work is picking her up around 5:30 am. It brings back memories from the ten months I had no car. It wasn’t fun. She’s working on a way to get two replacement tires for her beastie. It sucks constantly living one or two days in the future because you constantly have to be setting up rides to work. If we had mass transit that in any way resembled Portland’s Tri-Met, transportation problems would almost not exist.

I have to work the same shift tomorrow that I worked today: 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Except, today they asked me to stay an additional half hour. So, I got off at 3:30 pm.

The front end is hurting for cashiers. We are having some management changes. Nothing is official, but we all know who we are keeping and who we are not. The company went from two to one assistant store managers. We got the one I wanted.

Speaking of work, I finally got the chance to at least begin a conversation with my store manager about transferring I Oviedo. I hope moving to that store will happen faster than looks possible right now.
