Damn Mystery Channel

I was going to try to go to bed at 11 pm. Unfortunately, I discovered the Wednesday night, “Law & Order,” marathons.

Brian got me hooked on this show in 1991 when we started dating. I’ve been an addict ever since.

I loved all the early franchises: “Law & Order Criminal Intent,” and “Law & Order Special Victims Unit,” which is currently the longest running television show in American TV history.

On Wednesdays the Mystery channel shows the original, “Law & Order,” in the evenings. I’ve been watching since 9:00 pm. It’s now 1:46 am Thursday.

In the 1990’s, “Law & Order,” could be found on probably three different channels in different places of the show’s history. This was, of course, in addition to the current episodes shown on the NBC network.

That this show had multiple cast and character changes and lasted for about 20 years is a testament to the high quality of the writing, acting and production.

It’s 2:00 am. My marathon ended. I had to substitute, “Mannix,” on MeTV. Now, I’m hungry again. I’m having a bowl of cereal and going to bed for a few hours.

Oh goodie my sinus headache is back.

I’m tired so here are some screenshots I took of the Wikipedia article on the show.
