….I told her I found the painted rock she gave me on 7/4, when we saw each other last.

She lives in Flagler County, which is below St. Augustine (St.John’s County) and north of Ormond Beach (Volusia County). There’s a group of folks in Flagler who paint rocks with inspirational messages and then drop them in spots all over the county for people to find and keep, if they want to.

Well, she found this one and gave it to me and my backpack ate it until I found it last night. She just called me on her drive home from her fun-filled governmental job and I decided I had to make a small post about this rock.

There is even a Facebook group for these rock painters.

Apparently, there are other groups around Florida that do the same thing. One is in Manatee County (Bradenton-West Coast).

I just think it’s cool and fun.
