….and I am so glad about that. I think so many of us in the US had crappy years. Those of us who voted for the very intelligent, talented, visionary, empathetic and sympathetic woman, who would have made an outstanding President, are just wiped out and exhausted from what has happened to our country and what transpired in our personal lives.

I know I am. I know my closest friends are. I know many of our customers are also feeling the same way.

I knew trump was going to be worse than in installment #1; he’s a narcissist, he has the real textbook narcissistic personality disorder. Those people NEVER get better. They just cannot face self reflection. but holy cow, what a head-spinning damaged train of events he unleashed upon, not just our country, but the world.

When I first heard about his little, “remodeling,” job he inflicted upon the East Wing of the White House, I thought it was a joke—a story dreamed up by the talented and funny writers for The Onion.

I gave up watching the national news on November 5th, 2024–elect…er, I mean, re-installment night. Thus, when I heard about the destruction equipment at the White House, I didn’t think it was real. I didn’t think it was POSSIBLE. The White House is a national monument, wasn’t it protected? Technically, he and his pathetic family are tenants, not home owners, so what the actual fuck? How is he getting away with this shit? Digging up the Rose Garden was bad enough.

This destruction was horrendous (glad there is at least one entity suing his orange ass), but the White House, is a thing, not a living creature. He has been laser focused on destroying the lives of millions, mostly the black and brown people among us. You’ve probably heard of trump’s gestapo, ICE, which, currently, are America’s immigration Nazis.

Destroying national treasures are one thing; damaging the health of so many people is quite another. Health insurance will just evaporate because he is doing anything he can to chip away at the Affordable Care Act, commonly called Obamacare. People will see their premiums mushroom to a level that makes health insurance unaffordable because, the Republican Party, at trump’s bidding, is cutting off the tax credits that reduced the cost.

My final year on Florida Blue HMO insurance (which I got via the ACA) was last year because I turned 65 (when the fuck did THAT happen?) and I was funneled into the Medicare system, which I am unhappy with. My premiums went from $97 a month (or thereabouts) to $189, which is deducted from my social security check each month. My Florida Blue plan covered almost everything. My specialist doctor co-pays were $5, yes five dollars. On my Aetna Medicare Advantage plan, those co-pays increased by a factor of ten. Plus, my primary care physician co-pay went from non-existent to $10. For the first time in eight years, I had to deal with deductibles, and I received my first ever bill from my dermatologist—first bill from him in eight years!!!

As much as I am disappointed with Medicare, I know I’m lucky, cause I will have health insurance. Millions of Americans will have NOTHING! That is beyond criminal. it’s cruel and unnecessary. The republicans could have agreed to keep the tax credits in place. Didn’t the orange buffoon just give $40 billion to Venezuela.

This is exactly what President Obama and Vice President Biden wanted to change. This was the whole point: a healthier society is a more productive society.

Millions of Americans will get sick, many will die because they can no longer afford to treat their cancerous tumors and lesions, or get broken organs repaired, or replaced. People with no insurance and bad knees or hips will live in pain, many of them will remain immobile. Some might even commit suicide.

Billionaires certainly won’t be picking up the tabs; they simply do not care. That musk-critter even professed the belief that empathy was an evil trait among humans. Yeah, he obviously had zero interest in studying human psychology, probably because the discussions on personality disorders would have made him defensive and uncomfortable. He’s another narcissist, possibly not the same flavor that trump is. trump is an overt variety of narcissist; I lean toward elon being the covert kind. Covert narcissists can go undetected for decades; they are sneaky, and can often cause more damage to human psyches than the loud, obnoxious, more predictable overt variety.

I have not even scratched the surface of all the evil trump and his sycophants have bestowed upon the world. If you are a truly caring person, this year has thoroughly exhausted you.

I am not going to be sitting on my ass hoping and praying for change. Action is what is needed and it’s going to be much harder doing it under the boulders of exhaustion we are feeling. But, I am not in any mood to let the stupid win.
