Oh boy, my second dose of COVID in 3 months

This sucks! I was diagnosed Saturday of last week. By Tuesday I thought it was retreating and I’d be able to work my 4-10 shift on Thursday, but no, it was taking a coffee break. Then it was back on duty.

I’ve been writing this blog post in my head for the last three days, but the brain fog is bad with this round of the virus.

From the pandemic days. I bought this handmade embroidered mask off a lady from Mexico who was making and selling them. Unfortunately, one of the straps tore off. I’m gonna use as a patch on a pair of jeans.

I’m just giving you all a, “Howdy, I’m still here, and want to write….”

I can’t believe I got this again within three months. I’m betting I got it from a customer at work; it’s hard to keep secrets at my job. Our staff isn’t huge, and we all get to converse with each other pretty often. I think I would have heard about another COVID infection at work. In July after my first round ended and I returned to work, a lot of people knew what I was sick with. It didn’t bother me that they knew. It’s GOOD to know. It needs to be advertised that this stupid virus it still around, happily mutating.

Hopefully, I will be back later today to talk about my wonderful experience and offer more updates on what COVID is doing and where it’s going.

Ahhh, the sanitizer craze. I was working at Walmart for most of the pandemic. I took this pic in my store in Oviedo.
