I’m going to try and be brief.
It’s 4:48 am EDT, so technically, it’s Tuesday morning. I haven’t been to bed yet. For me it’s still Monday night.
My ears are hurting and that’s partly the cause of not sleeping yet. Rose and I watched the whole first disc of the first season of the TV show, “Grimm.” That got me wired. She ordered the complete series set earlier this week.
My mind is whirring. My head is pounding; I’m still fighting the sinus infection that I seemingly have been fighting all year. This one is different. It’s not high up in the upper sinus cavities like the last one that I had got three months. That’s good. It should be easier to vanquish. One would think.
I saw a new ENT a couple of weeks ago. He put me on that combination drug, amoxicillin-clavulanate. The amoxicillin is the antibiotic, and the clavulanate is a potassium hat is supposed to make the bacteria non-resistant to the amoxicillin.
It seemed to work for the ten days I was on it. Then I began feeling like I was getting an ear infection. The pain and pressure in my ears was pretty intense, and the gunk coming from my nose became less colorful, but still rather milky.
I made another appointment with the ENT, Jeffery Wilson, who is actually a physician assistant. A few days after making the new appointment the nose gunk got yellow and green and bloody again.
This time around he put me on the same drug, but for a full two weeks, and he cultured what’s up there. It takes five days for the culture to mature. If those bugs turn out to need a new drug he’s going to call me and change my prescription. It turned out my ears are fine, the sinus pressure is causing the pain.
Monday every time I got out of bed I almost lost my balance because I was so dizzy. Thus, I slept most of the day. Now, my sleep pattern is even more screwed up,
I have a lot of thoughts whizzing through my mind. I have a lot I want to write about, but I’m going to try and just nap and get up by 11 am.
Life is sucking, but I’m still remaining grateful it’s not worse.
Goodnight/good morning.
Now, let’s see what imagine JetPack inserts here.
