Mystery photos

Ever since JetPack took over management of WordPress, inserting photos has been a crap shoot. Sometimes the photo I choose gets inserted, sometimes JetPack seems to randomly select a different image,

So, this post is kind of an experiment to see what I get.

Here goes.

Nope, not what I asked for. I was trying for my photo of a Nasty Woman t-shirt that was for sale outside the venue at UCF, in Orlando, where Obama was speaking just days before the 2016 election. Instead I got this photo of the parking lot and sky over the Winter Park Sprouts.
Nope. Was going for a shot I took of Mt. Hood shot through the gigantic windows in Timberline Lodge, in Oregon. This image is of the statue in our front yard in Winter Springs.
Nope. Not the image I asked for. I was trying to insert a photo of the Jack o’lantern I carved in 2021, basically using one arm because of my freshly torn rotator cuff and broken shoulder sustained in an auto accident,
Ding, ding, ding, and we have a winner. This is the photo I wanted. Sky over a building in Key West, Florida, in June 2005.
Fail. I was trying to insert a photo of my late cat, Floyd. This is a meme I got from Facebook.
JetPack bombs again. I wanted a photo of Covid signs taped to cooler doors in a Publix near my home in 2020. This is a photo of pine trees at an interstate rest stop in Georgia, in June 1992.
Whooohoo. This is what I picked. Sky over Winter Springs, sometime in 2021.
Nope. This is a storm I drove in on Aloma Avenue in Winter Park. It might even be of Hurricane Ian, or Nicole, in 2022. I actually forget what I was aiming for, but this ain’t it

This phenomenon has made blogging very frustrating. I’ve sent JetPack messages about it and got no responses I don’t like them much. WordPress responds in under 24 hours.

Makes me think about moving to another platform.

It got two out of eight right. Fail!!!

The photos that are not screenshots are all mine.
